Anyone else freaking out that summer is already basically half over? When you pack your days with endless activities (the beach! the pool! bbqs! bonfires!). time can fly…and you can forget to pause for the self-care you need so you can fully recharge before the sun sets on another summer break,
Spend time with nature
From now until Labor Day, carve out time each day to be outside. Pick a different activity (may we suggest a bike ride, a walk in the park, a swim in the pool, or just even having a picnic) and enjoy the sunshine, the fresh air and the feeling of the grass under your feet (so grounding).
Journal your heart out
Ever seen those DIML videos where influencers get up and journal every morning? Summer’s slow pace is perfect for taking 15 minutes to write down how you’re feeling or what you hope to accomplish (need inspo? Check out this post).
Get some sleep
Never underestimate the power of some really good rest. Put on cute pjs, unwind with your fave TV show and get to bed early..And the next morning? Don’t hit that snooze button—get up, make an iced coffee and catch the sunrise for all the aesthetic IG pics.
Take a self-care day
Do an easy yoga flow before grabbing salads at your favorite spot (bonus points for no screens). Then take a leisurely walk home before an Everything Shower, journaling and hitting the hay early. Zzz….
