Carpenters, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has come! It seems like yesterday (and somehow, simultaneously forever ago) when it was Espresso and Please Please Please summer (who are we kidding, it still is!) Yes, the queen herself is gearing up for what might be *the* single of the summer, with a teaser recently dropped for her upcoming single, Manchild!
Rocking her signature curls, the pop star donned a cute white top and Daisy Dukes. Of course, the look was completed with her mile-high heels, bringing her up from “five feet to be exact.” She appears to be hitchhiking (and unfortunately failing to secure a ride) from the side of the road, in the middle of a desert, with a trusty brown suitcase by her side.
The teaser video itself is silent until a truck passes Sabrina by without a glance, and she says, “Oh boy.” But it doesn’t end there! Eagle-eyed fans have spotted new billboards popping up the day the teaser dropped, with messages like “Hey men!” and “Amen,” which, very coincidentally, rhyme. It tops off with another billboard saying, “I swear they choose me, I’m not choosing them,” and from the looks of it, they all seem to be lyrics from her new song.
Could we expect a new album on the horizon, and soon? Maybe, maybe not. All we know is that Manchild is very real and will be available to jam out to on June 5th! And if you can’t bear the wait? Check out the merch here to snag her newest vinyls.
